Kuosheng Advanced Resin Cleaning System Successfully Commissioned

RSI in partnership with NanDao Engineering recently completed installation and final acceptance testing of RSI's Advanced Resin Cleaning System (ARCS) at Kuosheng Nuclear Power Plant. Using the ARCS will allow operators to clean resin beds more efficiently with significantly less waste water generation. With continued resin bed cleanings using the ARCS, Kuosheng will be able to achieve its goals of lower feedwater iron and reactor coolant sulfate concentrations. Kuosheng Nuclear Power Plant is owned and operated by Taiwan Power Company (TPC) and is located north of Taipei Taiwan.
